Mike Barton- Hunting Pro-Staff/ Social

I was born in Dallas Texas and moved to a small town in central Utah at a young age.  From the first truck ride chasing mule deer in October, at seven years old I was hooked!  Everything from that point on revolved around the outdoors and hunting.  As I got older the high country started calling my name, and I started heading to the higher elevations with the spotter and would glass for days (my favorite).  Not many things beat glassing from the top of a ridge in the high country!

I quickly learned that having the ability to take a shot at a distance was a must. I had already put in countless hours at the reloading bench with the old man.  I was starting to realize just how important consistent ammo really is, especially when stretching a shot out.  This took me down the rabbit hole of precision rifles and reloading. Those late-night loading sessions can be therapeutic…. Most of the time!  With the help of great rifles, glass, and other gear. I have been fortunate to take several mule deer and elk and I can’t wait to teach my kids as much as possible.
