Hi guys/guys that follow us here at LRT. I’d like to write a brief article on products I believe have served me well this past year and that I’d 100% recommend to you.
#1 Phoenix Shooting Bags: https://www.phoenixshootingbags.com/

I use this bags at the range (mainly a rear bag) because of their weight (8oz rear bag) and stability. Phoenix makes an Incredibly tough bag that’s easy to use and it clips to my hunting pack with a buckle for an easy on/off. When making a longer shot at an animal the 8oz is nothing extra to me for the added stability, and In the backcountry it seconds as a pillow with my puffy jacket wrapped around it. Also made here in the USA!
#2 XLR Atom Magnesium: https://xlrindustries.com/collections/chassis

A while back I built my first chassis rifle and that unfolded many ideas for me. The folding option allows me to carry the rifle on my pack and it is much shorter/compact on the backpack. The weight is a wash compared to carbon aftermarket stocks but you have the M-lok and ARCA designed into the chassis which makes customizing your rifle to you easy. The carbon stock has an adjustable cheek height to make the rifle fit any shooters cheek. The appearance of these chassis can be ordered in a huge variety of color options and the mag well fits AICS mags. This set up was a no brainer for me. Made in the USA
#3 Tally Scope Rings: https://www.talleymanufacturing.com/product-category/talley-scope-rings/

I’ve been running tally’s action mounted rings for years and have never had an issue. I initially went with tally because they aren’t outrageous and they are very lightweight. I’ve mounted 1” tube scopes as well as 30mm tubes on a variety of rifles and all have fit as planned and the finish of them look great too. Tally offers a separate top ring bubble level option as well which is a must have for many shooters including myself. I have recently (September) installed a set of 34mm pic rail mounted rings on a new backpack hunting build and they are fantastic. Iv never personally had to send anything back into them but I’m sure an American made ring company would treat you well.
